Meet Michelle Jackman (She/Her)
Michelle Jackman, MSc, MD, FRCPC, ACC is a pediatrician, certified executive coach, and leadership facilitator who brings more than 15 years of clinical experience and a passion for physician well-being and leadership development.
At the Alberta Children’s Hospital, she serves as clinical lead for the Pediatric Centre for Wellness & Health, and has contributed as an author and co-author on numerous peer-reviewed publications in exercise science and pediatric obesity. Her appointment is Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. She has been recognized with multiple awards for her teaching and mentorship of medical learners.
Her clinical work for improving health for children and families living with obesity inspired her to bring this lens into the physician and healthcare space.
In 2022, Michelle founded Coframe Coaching, an executive coaching and consulting practice for healthcare professionals and leaders. She is an ICF-certified coach (ACC), an Erickson International graduate, and a Certified Facilitator for Physician Leadership Coaching (Global LEADs Canada). Her facilitation experience spans high-fidelity simulation, leadership retreats, and team coaching workshops.
Michelle’s coaching is grounded in her core values of integrity, honesty, and respect, and she is known for her ability to create safe, encouraging spaces where clients can explore new perspectives. Her warm smile, sense of humour and enthusiasm help clients embrace challenges and imagine bold next steps in their careers and lives.
She has addressed physicians at every stage of training, as well as veterinarians, nurses, psychologists, educators, allied health professionals, and leaders across diverse industries.
Outside of her professional work, Michelle is a competitive cyclist and an active contributor to her community.
